Terms of Sale


The sale of wine on this site is governed by these General Terms of Sale. Those who use the services offered on declare that they know and accept these general conditions of sale.

For direct consumers Monte Bernardi means any person who operates on the site

Monte Bernardi’s online shop is aimed exclusively to direct consumers who are already 18 years old and are at the age that governs the law that regulates electronic commerce. By using the website, the user guarantees to be over 18 years of age and that the person who will receive the shipment will be over 18 years of age.

The General Conditions of Sale exclusively regulate the offer, transmission, acceptance, shipment, purchase methods and the right of withdrawal of purchase orders for products on the site, between users of the Site and Monte Bernardi, however, they do not regulate the supply of services or the sale of products by different subjects that are present on the Site through hypertext links, links or banners.

The General Conditions of Sale are periodically modified by Monte Bernardi based on the development of its business and the market, as well as in compliance with any legislative updates and changes. Any updates and changes will be regularly published on the Site and will be effective immediately from the date of publication.


The order confirmation is subject to payment of the price, taxes if applicable, shipping and payment costs indicated on the page CHECKOUT.

The prices shown on the site include VAT where applicable and the cost of transport is shown separately, on the order form and on the invoice. Published prices are subject to change without notice: the User is obliged to check the final sale price before submitting the relevant order form.

All orders placed will receive an Order Confirmation email listing the products selected and shipping costs.  Orders are subject to the availability and acceptance from Monte Bernardi, which reserves the right not to confirm an order, due to the unavailability of one or more of the products purchased. In this case Monte Bernardi will refund the price and shipping costs incurred by the User and communicate this reimbursement to the User by the email provided at the time of order.

The actual availability of a product is approximate, because users can buy at the same time making a product unavailable.

The photos does not always show the vintage actually on sale, therefore, only the vintage listed in the product description is authentic.


The payment methods accepted by Monte Bernardi are Credit Cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Monte Bernardi Gift Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. All financial information necessary for the transaction will be transmitted, via encrypted protocol, to the corresponding banks related to the remote electronic payment services, without third party’s accessibility. This information will only be used by Monte Bernardi to complete the procedures relating to the purchase and related refund in the event of a product return if the user exercises their right to a refund, or in necessary cases of reporting or preventing fraud to the police or antifraud authoritative body.


All products ordered through the site will be delivered by national and international couriers, who assume full responsibility for delivery from pick up at Monte Bernardi to the address indicated in the purchase order.

Deliveries are made only in the following areas: Italy, Europe, USA, Canada (excluding British Colombia and Yukon), Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and New ZealandSome of the countries listed may be subject to customs and duties upon arrival in country of destination, therefore it is advisable to check with local custom authorities in order to understand local duties for wine purchases by private customers in your home country, therefore customs and duties are not included in the costs quoted by the Monte Bernardi Shop



Purchases on are subject to the provisions of Legislative Decree 206 of 2005, which guarantees the right of refund.

Returned products must be intact, better if in original packaging: for damaged or altered products it will not be possible to exercise the right of a refund.

the right of refund is reserved only for direct consumers, therefore any purchases made by retailers or by persons who, for whatever reason, purchase for resale remain excluded.

To exercise this right, the User must follow this procedure:

1. Send an email within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods, indicating:

invoice number
order number
order date
the product or products for which you intend to exercise the right of refund
bank details (IBAN code) for reimbursement

2. Wait for the return authorization e-mail from Monte Bernardi


3. Within 15 days of receiving the return authorization email, send the products subject to refund to the following address: Monte Bernardi – Via S. Leolino, 68 – 50022 Panzano – Greve in Chianti (FI) - Italy.


The refund of the products subject to the right of refund will be made within 14 working days of receipt of the goods. This reimbursement does not include shipping costs, charged to the Customer, in accordance with article 5 of Legislative Decree n. 185 of 22/05/1999.

In general, even if not expressly written, the legal provisions regarding distance contracts apply. Any dispute is subject to Italian jurisdiction.

 This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from (the “Site”).
